Berry Chairlift Adventure – New for 2025!

Get ready for a unique mountain experience! For just $5, ride the chairlift up the scenic slopes of Shames Mountain and enjoy a leisurely berry-picking walk down. The descent takes about 30 minutes without stops, but with berries to pick and views to admire, you’ll want to take your time.
Bonus: Every chairlift ticket enters you into a draw for a $900 helicopter ride courtesy of Yellowhead Helicopters!

Important Info:

• One-way only: The chairlift goes up only – all riders must walk down.
• Age & Safety:
  • Riders must be 5 years or older
  • Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult
  • You must be physically able to walk down the mountain
• Footwear & Clothing:
  • Sturdy footwear is required
  • Dress for changing mountain weather – no facilities are available at the top
• Tickets:
  • Available online, at the downtown office, or on the day
  • Cash or card accepted
  • Bring your receipt to the mountain to receive your ticket
  • Valid ticket required to board the chairlift
